2025 PAPER UNFRAMED

This year’s donation to WAAM’s Paper Unframed Exhibition & Auction is entitled MONA AND ME. One of my favorite little etchings, she was inspired by my 2001 summer excursions abroad. Spending a month living, breathing, and printmaking in downtown Florence brought the privilege of studying with Master Printers Ron Pokrasso and Dan Welden at the Santa Reparata Graphic Art Centre.

“2025 Paper Unframed: Benefit Art Auction & Exhibition includes a selection of historical and contemporary artworks by distinguished artists of the Hudson Valley/Catskills Region and beyond. The annual benefit exhibition and auction will take place online through Live Auctioneers and in the galleries from October 2-5. The extensive selection of works on paper showcases the breadth of talent and interest by WAAM’s artistic community and provides opportunities for collectors of various stages and interests to support the institution.

Bidding will start at $100 for works by living artists and $250 for historic works by celebrated regional artists. Proceeds will go towards supporting WAAM contemporary exhibitions and art education programs serving artists and students in the Hudson Valley/Catskills Region.” -WAAM

Lost in Translation…

LOST IN TRANSLATION / 17” x 21” / acrylic & collage / 2025

I am thrilled to have WIRED GALLERY presenting LOST IN TRANSLATION, a series of 18 pieces selected by curator and gallery owner, Sevan Melikyan.

Comprised of painting, drawing, and print, this current body of abstract work draws attention to life’s moments where both chaos and order appear able to co-exist and cooperate. Perhaps, even thrive.

Come enjoy the casual late afternoon tranquility of High Falls, as we share friendship, wine (and a bite), thought-provoking art, and good conversation.

Saturday, August 30th

5 pm - 7 pm
