UNFINISHED BUSINESS / Acrylic, Graphite, Collage on Wood Panel / 8 x 8 in / 2025

I completed this little piece while taking an online class with the incredible Melanie Delgado at the Woodstock School of Art in January. I had not picked up a paint brush in 3 months. Yet I’ve learned that stepping back is never wasted time. Simply an incubation period for even better things to come. And when in need of a fresh perspective, WSA is there, in my ‘backyard’, so to speak, as an extraordinary resource.
ps…I was close to calling it “Neat with a Slice of Lime” : ) . Then I got serious, lol…
